The Role of A Sponsoring Church
Sponsoring churches are the momentum that sends church planters out. They are also the loving and supportive parent to the new church and they work with their congregation to pray for and support the church plant.

Additionally, sponsoring churches are to have regular meetings with the church planter/church planting team and the pastoral staff for mentoring and coaching. Sponsoring churches can also send additional people from their congregation or staff to be a part of the new plant.
